Read our german law, without permission you can not fish!

You can a few trout-lakes without license I think… But that is individual per trout-lake. But im not shure (idk how to pronounce that)

unfortunatly not even on trout lakes. also if you had your own pond in your backyard with fishes you wouldnt be allowed to fish there. The License is mandatory as protection for animals. If you fish without the license you could face serious charges in Germany. however there are states that give out licenses to tourist but I do not know which and the requirements to get it. If you are in NRW you can also consider getting a fishing License from the netherlands and fish there. Have a nice Day !
